Church Wide:
-"Making a Connection" New Attendees Dinner - THIS Thursday- 6:30pm
If you are new to CCM or would just like to know more about us, please contact Nikki McVay at nikki@communitychurchmemphis.com by Wednesday to RSVP for this dinner. We will be meeting for a casual dinner at the home of Nikki and Bryan McVay (3432 Amroth Dr., Collierville). This is an informal get together - not a class. We hope to see you there!
-Meet and Greet - Sunday, May 27 at 9:30am
Please join us at CCM on the Last Sunday of every month for a "Meet and Greet" to be held in the first classroom to the left as you enter the YMCA. This is a great chance to meet people and get to know others at CCM! Breakfast and coffee will be provided. This was a big hit last month! We hope to see you there!
-Family Camp - August 10-12 ("Saturday only" openings available!)
We have over 20 families all signed up and ready to go to Family Camp in Bolivar, Tennessee the weekend of August 10th. If you and your family can't stay over night, please consider coming up for the day on Saturday to zip line, swim, climb the rock wall and eat with us! The cost of the day is $35 per family. Please contact Nikki McVay for more details.
-Marriage Retreat Weekend - September 7, 8 (Save the Date)
We hope you will plan on attending our special marriage retreat this fall. We will be meeting at the Marriott Courtyard at the Carriage Crossing in Collierville on Friday evening and Saturday morning. The cost for this retreat is $45 per couple and includes dinner and breakfast. Rooms are available to stay overnight for $99, if interested. So mark your calendars for this amazing weekend!
-Oasis Class for Adults Offered Every Sunday (am and/or pm)
We hope you will take part in our Oasis class this spring. Oasis is a place of real life in a desert filled with mirage. CCM is committed to winning people to an honest view of themselves and an authentic perspective of Jesus. Once we see who we are, we relish who He is. Oasis is your moment to look deeply into life. Join us at 8:45am on Sunday mornings at the YMCA or at 5:00pm Sunday evenings at the home of Herb and Gena Cummings (295 Spring Mill Rd, Collierville).
Children:
-5th graders Party with GrassRoots - Wednesday, May 30 at 7pm
If you have a child who just completed the 5th grade, please join us for the end of the year party for GrassRoots at the YMCA! We will have all kinds of games, activities and refreshments. This will be a chance for your 5th graders to meet Jake and the students and see what the fall will be like as they enter GrassRoots every Wednesday night! Parents, you are welcome to join us! See you at 7pm at the YMCA on May 30th.
-VBS!! June 8-10 at the YMCA
We are so excited to have VBS for the first time since being at the YMCA! This year's theme is "Rocky Point Lighthouse". We are going to cram a whole lot of fun into 3 days! We will meet Friday and Saturday night from 6-8pm and we will have a Sunday celebration as an entire church on June 10th during our morning worship service. After church on
Sunday we will have pizza and a pool day as well. It's sure to be a fun and exciting weekend.
Sign up your K-5th grader today. Preschoolers are welcome if the parent is accompanying them each night. Please email Nikki at nikki@communitychurchmemphis.com to sign your child up! See you there!
-"Be A Kid Wednesdays" start up in June! Youth included too
Are you asking yourself what "Be A Kid Wednesdays" are?? Each week we will meet throughout our community to "BE A KID" with our kids! Sometimes this is during the day and some are during the evening. Invite your friends and neighbors to join in the fun! Some of the activities will include: bowling, going to the zoo, swimming, movie night, etc. These activities will be each Wednesday in June and July for little ones all the way up to our youth. Below are the specific dates that we will be having these fun filled days. Please note that dates have the possibility to change due to weather or a change in plans.

June 13th Bowling at FunQuest in Collierville (Noon-2pm)
June 21st Pool Day at Various Homes
June 27th Movie Night to see the new movie "BRAVE" by Disney

-Summer Series "Women: Living Life" Beginning June 12
We hope you will be able to join us over the summer for our series "Women: Living Life" series. We will meet once a month on Tuesday evenings, and each time we will hear from one of our very own women from CCM. They will be sharing their story of "Living Life" with all of us. Come be with us on June 12th to hear Gena Cummings share how God has been faithful to her as she is "Living Life." Bring an appetizer to share and mark your calendars to join us this summer!

Calling all men! Come and join us on Sunday nights for some pick-up basketball at the YMCA. Please note that you will need to enter through side door on the left of the building.
Students (grades 6-12):
-GrassRoots - End of the School Party! May 30
If you are a 6th-12th grade student, come join us for our end of the year party at the YMCA! We will have all kinds of games, activities and refreshments. We are also inviting our 5th graders who are going into the 6th grade in the fall. We want a chance to meet you! Party begins at 7:00...see you there!

If you are a 6th-12th grader, join us at 9:00am for our New Bible study. We will be going over our GrassRoots lesson from Wednesday and discussing it in detail. We hope to see you there. Come and get involved!
-GrassRoots - Wednesdays at the YMCA - 7pm
If you are a 6th-12th grade student, come join us every Wednesday evening from 7-8:30pm at The YMCA at 1185 Schilling Blvd. E. in Collierville. This is our midweek service with worship provided by Tony Fisher and a message by Jake Gaines. There is also a time of games and basketball. Invite a friend! You won't want to miss out on this fun time together!
-The Commons (for Guys) -THIS Sunday at 4:45pm
This group is for 6th-12th grade GUYS and meets every other Sunday evening of the month from 4:45-5:45pm at Mama Mia's Pizza (255 Byhalia Rd). Come hang out with us!
-Chic 31 (for Girls) -THIS Sunday at 5pm
This group is for 6th-12th grade girls and meets every other Sunday evening from 5-6pm at the home of Kira Matas (733 Crestover Dr.). Contact Jake or Becca Gaines for location. jake@communitychurchmemphis.com. We will be studying the Word of God and will be focused on deepening our love for Him, understanding why we strive for purity, and finding out what God wants from our lives.
